Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic drainage involves the use of gentle, hands-on maneuvers to assess the lymphatic system and simulate wave-like movements with a pressure starting at about the weight of a nickel. This process works to activate fluid circulation and stimulate the working of the immune system. The lymphatic system is critical to our body’s ability to clear toxins and stagnant fluids from all parts of our body, to detoxify and filter out foreign substances and maintain a healthy immune system.

Lymphatic bodywork provides:

Reduction in edemas (swelling) of various kinds, including post-operative edema | Detoxification of the body | Regeneration of tissue, including, burns, reductions of scars (pre-and post operatively) | Reduction in the symptoms of chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia | Deep relaxation to aid insomnia, stress, loss of vitality and loss of memory | Alleviation of adiposis and cellulite tissue | Alleviation of sinus congestion/infection | Improvement of some venous conditions

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system – comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Releasing these restrictions can help to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, naturally eliminate pain and stress, strengthen your resistance to disease and enhance your health and well-being.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is effective for a wide range of health problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:

Migraine and other Headaches | Chronic Neck and Back Pain | Stress and Tension-related Disorders | TMJ Syndrome | Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue | Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries | Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder | Emotional/Neurovascular Disorders | Learning Disabilities | ADD/ADHD | Scoliosis | Neurovascular or Immune Disorders | Many Other Conditions | (From Upledger website)
